A BODY IS A BODY-it feels pain; it does not want to be violated.
Many people who care about human rights and principles of social equity forget that every time one purchases a cup of coffee with COW's MILK, that milk has been taken from the body of an animal—taken from a MOTHER.

ASK YOURSELF: WHY WOULD A COW VOLUNTARILY GIVE MILK TO ANYONE BUT HER BABY?
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE—SHE WON'T.
We are forcing her—impregnating her, taking away her baby, taking her milk, and then repeating the cycle of violence again and again until she cannot continue.
Then.
We kill her.
And ongoingly, we kill her male calves for VEAL.

ARTWORK BY LENA POZDNYAKOVA

The Sexual Politics of Meat by Carol J. Adams is a foundational work in feminist-vegetarian theory that explores the connections between patriarchy, sexism, and the consumption of animals.
Adams argues that the objectification of women and the treatment of animals as consumable objects are structurally linked through cultural language, imagery, and power systems.
She introduces concepts like the “absent referent,” showing how meat consumption obscures the living animal, much like how women’s identities are often erased in sexist representations.
The book critiques how intertwined systems of domination normalize both gender inequality and animal exploitation.
